TOG Rating

TOG stands for "Thermal Overall Grade" - it's a measure of how warm a fabric will keep your child. The higher the TOG rating, the warmer the garment. TOG ratings start at 0.2 and can go up to 3.5. With a 2.5 TOG rating, our sleepsuit is designed for maximum breathability - perfect for cooler nights or homes kept at temperatures between 16-20 degrees celcius. In the summer, simply pair it with a lightweight short-sleeve or sleeveless bodysuit to keep your little one cool and comfortable. For colder months, layer the sleepsuit over a long-sleeve bodysuit or cozy cotton pajamas. The sleepsuit acts as a waterproof outer layer, giving you the flexibility to adjust warmth underneath while still protecting the bed from leaks and keeping your child dry all night long.

The clothing guide above provides general advice on how to dress your child based on room temperature. Every child is different, so the layers they need may vary depending on their body, their health and the room temperature.

Caregivers should decide what is most suitable and regularly check the room temperature and the child’s comfort. It is important to check that your child is comfortable and not over heating.
